:facepalm:So i have bought a 78 bass boat cheap of course and here is my issues. Last year i got the boat working but when i throttled up the boat bogged down. Over winter i replaced fuel tank, fuel lines, starter silinode, coil pack, spark plugs, and cleaned the carbs. Now my issue is that it is hard to start the motor when it kicks over it stalls after 30 seconds and wont start back up. While trying to start the motor it does not make a noise and wont start. After 10 min i can try to start it and it atleast atemps to crank. Could it be a power pack or one of the 4 coil packs. I'm hoping to trouble shoot with anyones help. I dont have a lot of money to send it to a repair man so thats not a option anytime soon. my motor is a 85 hp Evinrude 1977/1978. It looks clean and has run great once a pond a time. PLEASE HELP me get back onto the lake.
