9.9 johnson motor

i am new to the motor world so bear with me. my dad gave me a 12 ft. fiberglass boat with a 9.9 hp johnson motor. it is a 1977 the model # is 10R77A and i am wanting to know the correct gas mixture. he never used it so he didnt know. any help would be greatly appreciated

50:1 gas oil mix with TCWIII. One pint oil to 6 gal gas.

okay ty very much i am wanting to get this in the water. the TCWIII is that a brand of oil

TCWIII is a specification for 2-cycle outboard motor oil. Any brand of 2-cycle outboard motor oil with "TCWIII" on the label will do for your application.

thank you very much for the info. i am gonna use my muffs to run it before i put it in the water

dont rev it too much w/ the muffs....look up thermal runaway
