Boarding ladder issue

Wanting to add a board ladder to the forward center of my pontoon boat . Problem is the eye for attaching the trailer wench is mounted under the deck on a cross deck support. If I mount the ladder so it will retract into the open area under the deck it would prevent the use of this eye. How have others dealt with this issue or is this eye placement unique to my boat?

Mine is from the factory and fits between the starboard toon and the center eye.

Sometimes I get too singular in my thought process - I was thinking that the ladder needed to be centered but I guess it doesn't since it is only 14 inches wide. Thanks for a effective and simple answer. Jon
