I just bought a 1994 Evinrude 48 spl. I want to put new spark plugs in, but can't seem to find information on which plugs I should use or what gap I should have them at. I've seen things about indexing...will I have to index the plugs with this motor?

Cant remember off hand, but general rule of thumb is to hand tighten, then 1/4 turn with the plug socket wrench. Im thinking like 240 inch/lbs, but it has been a while since I have actually used a torque wrench on my plugs, just sort of get a feel for them after a while.
