Mazda B3000 v6 3.0 pulling a Regal 2150 lsc

Hello there
just wondering if its safe to towing my boat with a mazda b3000 3.0 v6 .
I have a regal 2150 cuddy and i never use my truck for towing it:confused:
Any advise?

Welcome to iboats!:cool:

It's a matter of comparing the tow rating of your truck to the actual weight of your boat and trailer fully loaded. I'm going to guess your truck isn't up to the job.

The Mazda 3000 has a 2,500 lb. capacity. The boat weighs 3,400......I wouldn't chance it.

Add another 800 - 1000# for the trailer and you are nearly double the towing capacity.

I used to own a towing company, lets just say its not pretty when you show up and see the aftermath of a trailer driving the tow vehicle. Your truck is worthy of towing 2 jet skis on a trailer, not a boat of that stature.

Towing is usually not a problem. Stopping it is.
