I took boat out today and when I would give the boat gas it would not go. The motor was acting like it was bogging down. When I would give it more gas the engine would die. Not sure what to do.
Sounds like a fuel related problem, but as always check to make sure compression is good on all cylinders first and then test spark with a spark tester. No reason to trouble shoot a motor with bad compression.
If all is good then start on the fuel problem pumps, carbs,trash,water,air leak, restriction, etc
99yam40 thanks for the help I will check the compression and then check fuel system. When I ran it at the house this morning is runs fine no issues when running on the ears. Not sure why this would be happening. Thanks
