I have a 1992 Mariner 75 hp (3cyl) and when I go to start it, it wont crank all the way unless my dad pulls down on the throttle lever on the side of the motor with his hand and then it cranks every time as long as he is pulling the lever down which opens the carbs. What could be causing this? Should the carbs be open at idle? Thanks for any help!
