1987 120HP evinrude - Just Purchased - need review help

I just purchased a new to me 120hp evinrude. It has a new impellar, 120psi on all, and seems to be in great shape. I am suppose to have it on my boat soon, but its not on yet. I have always owned Mercury's......I dont have a preference on way or the other.....as long as they run well! There are always pro's and con's to every motorm but I was hoping to get a little advice from people who have had this motor or who have worked on this motor. I just want to know if there are things I should look for. Thanks for the help in advance, you guys have a great day!

if its anything like my 88 hp rude,which im assuming it is.they are fairly easy to work on.most nuts and bolts are easily accessable.my motor is also a 1987.i like it so far,good power all the way through the rpm range.hope this helps ya a little!
