got a 87 115 now,run across a 83 150 black max with 50 hrs on rebuild,sit last 2 yrs,i can get whole ski boat,tanden axel trailer,trol motor,extras for 1500,,,would this 150 be noticably stronger than my 115 with maybe 15 hrs on it??
That 115HP is an inline six? If so, you will find the 150HPV6 has a lot more bottom power due to it's displacement. The midrange of the 150 will be a bit better, as will the top end.
