I have a 95 Seaswirl with 302 Ford V8 motor. The motor only has 40 hrs on it after rebuild, however it will not maintain speed, idles fine but bogs down under a load. I have been told it is because of the "decleration valve". This part is listed as "obsolete" or "unavailable". It is only shown as being made for 94-96 motors.

Tried bypassing it that didn't work, any suggestions

Ayuh,... Is this a OMC, or Volvo motor,..??

Never heard of a "decleration valve"....

However, "however it will not maintain speed, idles fine but bogs down under a load."
Sounds like a fuel delivery issue...
Have you checked, 'n changed the fuel Filters,..??

Yup was a goofy vacuum valve plumbed in between the carb and PCV valve, and can be tossed away, but carb will need some jet changes
