It should pee fine in neutral??? Is the copper tube seated properly.
Was there any broken vanes on the replaced impellar?
was it not peeing before the change in neutral?
Scott, A lot of those V6 motors have the telltale downstream of the thermostat. If the motor is not warmed up, there is no telltale stream. Sometimes in neutral, especially in cold water, the motor will not warm up, hence no telltale.
Chris hit it. All the water for the tell-tale goes through the t-stats first. In cold water, if might not pee at idle. The best way to know if your cooling system is working properly is to install a water pressure gauge.
