y pipe....QU?ICK HELP

I have to loosen my y pipe as the guy that is "helping" me dropped a NUT down into it....

it has the 12 pts bolts...I have to borrow a 12 pt socket

what size are the bolts...

they look like 1/2 or close...

anyone know for sure off hand?

Ayuh,... The actual bolts are 5/16ths" or 3/8ths"...
The socket heads are 3/8ths" 12-point, or 7/16ths" 12-point...

Once ya pull it apart, you're gonna new a new o-ring gasket to put it back together with....

Pull the drive and reach it through the exhaust bellows.
Come to think of it, If you can reach the Y pipe bolts, that probably means the engine is out which in turn means the drive should already be off.
