hi have had some advice picked up from this forum but have issue with this motor
it was originally tiller control but has been adapted to front controls
only had it short time and when i got it the leg was stuck in forward and gear selector and throttle were reversed (all sorted out)
i have just made new gaskets for the water pump and fitted all ok went out today and had very little water from the tell tale hole and wouldnt throttle high and conked out a couple of times (stayed within 50 m of ramp)
back at home with fitting in flush hole strong stream of water and revs up beautifully and idles normally
had water coming out between leg and trunk (damaged by previous owner)out of small 1cm gap(can be fixed easily) water also coming out of hole in trunk to allow access to bolt to remove anode
have i missed something, as a car mechanic and have done small motors, i have a fair knowledge. but i think it appears to be sucking air but cant see how as it is under water
any advice would be appreciated
