Ok I have been doing some prep for the thaw and would like to have all my ducks in a row for the summerization of the rig. So her goes does anyone have or can point me in the right direction of a (Merc) parts number list for my engine (ser# of553706) and O/D Alpha 1 Gen 2 (ser,#0f530668). I have used the search function comming up shy and I also have the service manuals for both (thanx Don) but they give no #'s. If it's in pdf that would be great or just a printable list. Parts specific are both plastic speedo fitting for the O/D, exhaust shutter, coils (EST), electronic choke spring element for starters any assistance would be great!

Thanx Zig but I was kinda looking for a refference I could have without all the point and click stuff that way I can add it to my service manuals disk. Not sound ungreatfull but I would think the Merc service manuals would have part numbers but I guess that must be one of those have to cut down another tree thing? Like I said thanx but go-fast has some good info.

Doesn't exist. Dealers are set up with a program that gets updated yearly (expensive too). Not something for a DIYer. There are so many changes per year, it's almost impossible for even the dealers to keep up with.
Service manual do not have part numbers, simply because they change so often. Impossible to change the manuals.

Thanx for clearing that up Don that way I won't be searching or asking for something that doesn't exist.
