honda 100 (10 hp) outboard

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about the 100 (10hp) 4 stroke honda outboards. I ran across one for $50, seemed cheap juas wondering if there was any particular reason I should stay away from the hondas. I have always ran omc's. I know nothing about hondas or their outboard reputation. thanks

Those old outboards were built in the 70's and 80's, there really good motors. Parts are getting harder to get. If the motor starts, idles, and has a a solid stream of water out of the back of the motor, it might be worth picking up!
