Hey guys i just came across this forum and figured i would give it a shot and maybe get some good info. Ok so I just dug out a old 1965 blue star 15ft aluminum v bottom fishing boat out of my grandpa's field. He and his brothers bought it new and used it for many of years and then just it sitting.....I installed a new transom and casting deck on it and took it out (very very worried about sinking i might add) i do not know much about this boat at all and was wondering if someone will be able to coe up with some info....i plan to restore this boat and spend weekends with my kids fishing in it as i did with my grandfather many years ago. I was also wondering if I could add a full flat floor in it without it sinking?? it seems like it rides a little high in the water.
