I have a 2003 model 90hp Mercury that has had intermittent problems from day 1
I have had many cases were it does not start and requires a tow only to get it home
in the driveway and it starts first straight away.
I have started it at home before an outing only to then not start at the ramp, I take it
home and again starts.
Because of the type of problem it has been hard to detect.
I think i have an opportunity to find the problem.
I went out fishing yesterday and it ran well all day, only to get home to wash and flush
and it f%cking won't start.(It does crank)
I don't want to move the thing until i find the problem as i think it is something loose
or sticky any suggestion would be welcome

ie best way to check fuel & ignition
