Yamaha F60, Injector Dead

I recently sent my injectors off for an ultrasonic cleaning and flow testing. One had a slightly lower flow than the other three, but after the cleaning, they all tested out good.

I took my boat for a spin and for the first 30 minutes I kept it around 2500 rpm, just taking it easy and putting around. Motor was extremely smooth and quiet, like the day I got it. I then decided to get the boat up on plane and it just wouldn't get there. Motor developed the shakes and just couldn't get it past 3000 rpm.

Shop says that one of my fuel injectors is completely dead.

Questions I have are....1) with the symptoms I described, would a dead fuel injector fit the bill? 2)With the injectors having just been cleaned, and the motor running good at first, is it possible for one to just die like that, or do I need to be aware of a potential problem upstream of the injectors that might cause others to fail in the future as well?

FYI...everything from the tank to the injectors has either been replaced or cleaned. Fuel system should be clean.

Thanks for all the help.
