Hello to all, I have a problem starting my 1992 force 120 when it's cold, after it does start it seems to idle high for about two minutes and then settles down to normal. Once the motor is warm it starts great. It runs great through all ranges until I try WOT. It seems like it is starving for fuel, as soon as I back off of WOT it picks up more RPM and runs like a champ. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for any help!

First do a compression and spark test. Then check the fuel pump diaphragm.Post your results.
Ethanol is causing trouble in some systems. It's delaminating older hoses and making the rubber soft.J

Compression was right at 120psi on all cylinders, spark was also strong on all cylinders, looked at the choke solenoid while pushing the key it's closing the butterflies all the way. I wiil look at the fuel pump shortly. Any other suggestions????? Trying to get the boat ready for summer here in S.C

Check the throttle shutters after moving to WOT and make sure they're vertical
