i had no idea starcraft had such a large following im amazed at the volume of info here u guys are great i am just wondering if my ss is original? thanks

Id say paint, emblems, wheel...All original...In fact she's pretty much there from what I can see

lol thanks kev kinda funny u in ft meyers ha im flying there end of month to tile my sisters house no vacation just work anyway im hoping i dont have to do much work on this boat was looking for motorcycle and ran across this ss and fell in love with her lines

Looks good what year????? most Super Sports I see do not have the bow rail all the way around but a different year they probably did. The fold down seats are the only thing I think is not origional as they look like after market. Boat look realy nice and with a 50 -75 O/B will be a great set up. Good luck. be sure to test the transom for solid feeling. .

Great looking SS, the fold down seats look the same as the ones in my SS, and they are origional. Looks like the aluminum trim around the wood dash panels is missing. Look for a good Johnson or Evenrude V4 for that girl and you will be set up real nice.

Good looking boat, and pics included in your post. You are a prodigy! More details please... year, maybe what you had to give for her,( we love great deal stories), perhaps you rescued her from the scrapyard or maybe your wife/gf was against it at first but now loves it. Let us know your plans for her. We all thrive on that stuff. Good luck Tex, and enjoy your boat.

thanks again ex wife dont care long as she gets child support lol gf loves it i paid 1300 came with only 35 evinrude w/tilt and trim hoping to get new motor later . just wanna take kids and gf out and swim and fish wish she was same color as my bronco lol seems to be original paint in great shape title says 18 ft 1976 lol

She looks all original to me, very nice rig. Could use a little freshening up but you have done very well.:D

The 35 will offer legendary fuel economy, but a 70 might be more fun, all depends on what you are looking for. Welcome to the club:)

Put a 150 on it and never need for power. I don't think those bow seats are factory.

transom seems very solid floor solid everywhere cept front area trailer bunks are bad shape boat was holding bout 40 gallons of water and not dripping when i got it still not sure if paint is original and graphics but i am very pleased with this old starcraft

got my starcraft home yesterday and got 6 inches of snow today lol i sure wnated to redo the bunks this weekend

It looks like the dash board panels were replaced, maybe not.

took the kids and fiance out today on greers ferry lake yes the 35 is kinda small did plane with light load but put 3 adults and 3 kids lol kinda slow but all kids drove and had a blast main thin boat didnt leak and motor ran great going to redo floor and dash panels and some small cosmetic stuff man im so glad i bought this boat stead of another motorcycle i love the starcraft ss .I also enjoy reading i boats lol i have gone thru so many threads great forum

Glad you like the rig tex_man...they are great boats and easy on the wallet too:D

It's cool that the 35hp planed out the rig, you could cruise all day on not much fuel probably with that set up.

Best way to do pics is to sign up for a free photobucket type website. Upload pics from there then copy the image code to here using the photo button when you post a new post.
