Re: keel guard

Is this an aluminum semi-V? If so, it should work, depending on how you define "work".

A semi-V hull is shaped like this one:

I would say it is a v hull. I want a safe way to beach the boat so i can move the truck when i am by myself and with the wife without haveing to tie boat off and make people mad.

Yes, the keel guard will work however, be advise....... it will NOT add any strength to the keel and the aluminum will still be susceptible to dents and damage under the keel guard. It will give you a good wearing surface.

Yes, a keel guard would be good for this, but as Bob_VT wrote, it won't stop major damage. Pick your spots carefully (watch out for rocks, etc.).
