Well the marina tells me that the parts i need for a carb rebuild are "obsolete". After doing research it seems that this is basically true, however I find it hard to believe that there isn't someone out there who has what I need. I'm looking for anyone with any connections on tracking down a carburetor for my Mercury 18hp. The motor is from the early 80's, I think 83, and I need either a new carb or the rebuild kit for the one I have.
I have also heard that the carb from the 25hp from the same years is compatible. Any info or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
