I have today become the owner of a 1976(ostensibly)40hp Evinrude"Norseman".
The model # on the plate says it is a 40253E but I cannot find this # in my lists.Can anyone with more comprehensive lists help me out here? I just want to verify it's what it says it is at the moment though I'm sure I'll have more questions later when I start to overhaul it.
