2004 Glastron SX 175 w/3.0 Volvo... Good Boat?

I may be selling my Checkmate soon, and my brother-in-law has a 2000 Glastron GT I love. Just found a 2004 Glastron SX-175 w/Volvo Penta 3.0. Appears to be in excellent condition. Anyone have any good or bad experience with this boat and the 3.0 Volvo I/O? I am not looking for extreme speed, just a nice boat for occasional tubing, good gas mileage and the occasional family day cruising around the lake(s).

Should suit your needs ... don't know much about the newer Glastrons, but the older ones were good boats. Should be light enough that the 3.0 would do okay in that setup.

Sounds like a great boat to me. The 3.0 in that size is more than adequate.
