hi guys i been looking at this boat that someone around here has for sale the guy is asking 1200. and i think even 1000 would do , i know that i need to spend some more on the boat but i want ur opinion if i should go this route or wait a bit longer .

To be honest,I would continue to look at other boats.

The Force motor with broken or missing tilt and the over all condition of the boat pretty much shows that it would be a money pit.
I bet the transom and floor are about gone in the boat too.

Save the thousand and keep looking...

Keep looking.
I found a 20' CC/alum trailer, 115Johnson a few 'maintenance' issues and it's ready to use!
For $1200!

What make/year is the boat and motor? Looks like a decent trailer but there is A LOT of work in that boat (guessing floor and transom for starters), and for $1K that motor had better purrrrr like a kitten.

I'd keep looking around

A thousand pennies right? That is a pile..
I live in Houston also.. Bought my Four Winns for a $1000, running with a brand new battery... I had to install a tilt motor and do some other little things.. I found it on Craigs List. Had to drive to Lake Jackson for it... Keep on shopping
