2 stroke or 4 stroke yamaha?

hey, all.

i am shopping for a used, small yamaha for my 16 foot aluminum boat. i have only considered 2 strokes thus far, but i found an affordable 4 stroke today manufactured in 2000.

what do y'all think? are there advantages / disadvantages to buying a 4 stroke?
