Was given this motor and there is no serial tags

If anyone could help itd be greatly appreciated. Need to know around about year and model of this 35hp mercury 2 cylinder single carb. And If anyone wants to buy parts off of it, motor is locked up but Im sure there are alot of good parts still.

Somewhere on the cylinder block there should be a plug with the serial number on it. See pic. When you have the serial number someone will be able to tell you the year if you know the motor is a 35hp.

At least post some pictures. From what you have given us so far there nothing to even use to make a guess.

My guess would be 1968 - 1971.
