I have a 10hp seahorse Model QD-15 Serial #1134180

Can anyone help with the year of this Motor?

It was my grandfathers and I used it as a child. I am now trying to revive this memory. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have many photo's if this will help.

Model QD-15 is a 1954 10hp Johnson.

Mixture is 24/1.... 1 quart of TCW-III 50/1 oil to 6 gallons oof gasoline. A octane of 87 will be fine.

Wow what a quick response! Thanks Very Much. Are there any sites that offer gaskets, carb floats, jets etc. that you would recommend?

Welcome to the forum. iboats sells a lot of the parts you will require, just look around. I have the parts manual if you want it. If yes, PM me your email and request please. And if you have questions, post them here. Lots of folks run those engines still.
