Lost Illinois title on 88' Glassride trailer

Help! Lost the title on my 88 Glassride trailer and need a new title but cant find the Vin# anywhere??? The sticker with the capacity info is almost faded so is that where it would be? Any advice would help.

The plate with the VIN is normally up near the tongue , try rubbing lightly with a pencil to try and bring out the numbers.

My trailer (not a Glassride) had the vin # on a sticker and stamped into the forward crossmember. I found the stamped one with an orbital sander and 60 grit.

not sure about your brand of trailer but my ez loader had the vin on a sticker stuck to the inside of the square tube for the tongue.

If that doesn't work can't you go to a dmv and have them look it up from your driver's license number??

Bring the plate number to your local Police Dept. and have them run the plate and get the VIN number from that.
