sterndrive horsepower and year

Cobra 3.0 987120 ser # T0752989 mounted on Sierra MRR35328C92 16.5 runabout.
Just bought this boat and would like the particulars Can't find a thing about it on the internet.

Ayuh,... It's 135/ 140hp, 'n no doubt the same year as the hull...

thanks for the quick reply, now if I can find out who built the boat (I suspect Sierra or Mirrocraft) I'll be able to find out a little about it.

You need to look into OMC/Cobra for the info on that motor.
Looking up the boat won't give much info on the motor.
That # is the serial# the last 2 digits are the year. J

anyone recognize this boat?

Just bought this reasonably because it wouldn't start. Here is a small thumbnail (click on it for larger image i think). I believe this is a Sierra built in WI .I can't find any information or specs on it on the internet. It has a 3.0 OMC Cobra and is a 1992. All other Sierras have outboards.

You might want to give them a call. It looks like they currently have a variety of IO models on their site. I couldn't find much on legacy models, but someone from the company might be able to assist. There's also a link for dealers. You could find a dealer and call them.

Just a couple of thoughts.

i've emailed Sierra and waiting for a response. the threads are similar 'cause i thought I better post it on boats rather than outdrive forum
