Slice the meat off the bone and brown in a large pot w/a chopped red onion.then add fresh washed and cut or chopped collard greens if you can find them.a cup or so of chicken broth,some soy sauce and hot pepper or tobassco and a little vinigar. cover and simmer till collards are tender adding water if needed to keep it moist.about an hour.oh yea!
Could never bring myself to even try collard greens. Always looked like what you rake out from under the lawn mower when you cut the grass while it's wet!
