I need to replace my original smartcraft gauges, theyre un-readable, yellowed and cloudy from sun damage.
I need to get 2 Mercury P/N 79-859067A1 tachs and one P/N 79-8590678A2 speedometer gauge. I dont need anything else. These are the white faced gauges that say VDO on the gauge face.
Apparently the NEW SC1000 gauges will NOT work on my ECM harness, and Mercury no longer makes or stocks those gauges.... Thanks a lot Mercury !
If I cannot find those gauges, is it possible to MAKE the SC1000 System gauges work with some electrical wizardy from the kind of guy that understands it?
