Purchasing a mercury outboard - serial number help

I am looking at purchasing a relatively new mercury four stroke 9.9 outboard and I was hoping someone could help me determining some additional information on the motor. The serial # is 0R379142 and I have not been able to find anything on mercury parts express or other similar sites. I am new to the forum and would appreciate any help.

Yep your right that is a new engine for sure, The engine manufacture Date was on 09/02/2010. The engine model number is 1F10211FK MERCURY 4 STROKE TMC 9.9 ML 4.

And the service manual part number your going to want to buy from the mercury marine dealer is 90-892248R01 8/9.9 Fourstroke engine.
