buying a 1992 honda 9.9 hp

this motor appears mint but hasn't been started in 4 years--it is electric start and pull. it starts and idles great. any major concerns I should be aware of?

I would suggest taking it to a mechanic since it has been sitting for so long. It may start and idle great, but you do not know its life and it may not perform well. Just a friendly piece of advice so you do not get stuck with a big fat repair bill.

That is a long lay up .It would be nice to see this unit run across the board but it is a very durable engine.If you are idleing fine and all cooling indicators seem appropriate and the price is right,jump on it.Love that engine.
