Hood foam lining what with?

What are the options and materials available to line the inside of a 70hp hood that is being restored? The current foam is in bits and I would like to line it with a sound deadening foam but want to ask here what you have used that worked well?

Try sea-way.com for OE replacement sound blankets. The top was #0317447, side was #0320611. 3M-847 is a good adhesive for this project.

If you can't locate exact 70HP replacements, you can cut the larger V4 sound blankets to size (0208509 and 0208510).

i always used closed cell neoprene. but, of course, never kept the boat more than 7-8 years after that so I can't attest to durability. Sound dampeneing is awesome tho
