Used tilt and trim

I have a 1995 Johnson 40 HP w/o tilt and trim. Does anyone know if this would work or how I would be able to figure that out? Any help would be very appreciated. Rick.

A.) no i don't think it fits a 40HP

B) a used looper old enough to have an aftermarket trim motor isn't worth $250.

No. Won't work. Try the salvage yards in the sticky files at the top of this forum.
