hi guys i have a 21 paramount and my brother installed a fish finder the transducer is kicking up a lot of water all over the motor did he do something wrong??????????????
Sounds like the transducer is mounted too far below your hull, move it up as far as you can while keeping an uncluttered screen while on plane. Sometimes having some extra spray is just something one has to live with to mark fish while underway, but it isn't ideal for water to be spraying near an outboard's intake.
