Last week the weather man was predicting sunny and very warm highs in the 60s for this week, his forecast has been a bit off, and there was rain yesterday leaving today the last sunny and fairly warm day of the year, I have yet to get a real run of my wellcraft this year from my restoration and was hoping for one today...should I just put on my winter gear and go for a spin? or spend the day winterizing instead?

Oh man - you have to do it or else you will be kicking yourself for the next several months. Of course with the way the weather has been in the North Central parts this fall you may get a 70 degree day in December! :D

I don't understand the question--why would you rather work on it than ride in it? You are describing a perfect winter striper fishing day

Went out 2 weeks ago and the water temp was about 58 .The air temp was below 50 and the wind was blowing. 3 hours and not a single fish. I did however enjoy being in the boat ! I have yet to winterize, I'm holding out for 1 more day of gettin the boat out! So imho get the boat on the water that way you will aslo be able to tell if anything needs a touch up this winter ! :D

Ya we got one last stint of nice weather here in Indiana, it was 70 yestrday and suppose to be 68 today so I am definately going fishing tonight.

Hoping to get in a trip over Thanksgiving weekend but that is usually it even with a top, you gotta get it while you can.

It's gonna be in the 40's this weekend, I have a prop I need to test out before I store and winterize... It's gonna be cold! But I'm gonna go for it anyhow... It's great fishing now, so maybe get a few casts in for a musky or northern... Go for it brutha!
