225 Evinrude Oceanpro leaking?

Guys I have circled in the photo where the bottom end is leaking water like a sieve. I don't think it's supposed to be doing that. Looks like the seal is bad there, otherwise the motor pee's and runs as it's supposed to.

My 87 Johnson has been leaking water out at the same place for years, someone can correct me but I don't think there is a seal at this joint; at least it isn't on my motor. If it was in the water you would'nt see it. If it is peeing and not running hot I wouldn't worry about it.

No seal. Mine leaks like a sieve there as well.

All ya gotta do to stop the leak is shut the water off.

Seriously, you're good to go. It's supposed to do that.

Thanks so much guys.....I wasn't too worried about it. Just thought I would ask before I take her out for a spin.
