Hi All, just got into the forums. Lots of info here that is definately going to help me with my new project.
I just assumed ownership of an 84 Sea Ray Seville with no lower unit. I do have access to a Sea Ray that has Volvo Penta drive. the one I want to restore has a 140 lable on top of the engine cover. I think the other donor boat is a 3.0. Are volvo and Merc out drives compatable? Like I said, I'm kind of new to the boating restoration world, but my son and i plan on haveing funtogether on this one before I deploy next year. Any help you'll can send my way would be apreciated.
