Fiberglass boat transoms

Which bass boat manufacturers built the best transoms in the 90's? I have ran across a few cheaper boats with weak transoms. I've heard that some use composite materials. Will these also rot? What are the better manufacturers using these days?

If you want a composite transom you'll be installing it yourself or buying a rather expensive new boat.
I bought a 1974 chrysler center console and poured a seacast transom.
You need time, space to work , tools and money.
