it's a long story but i i ended up with a rebuilt mercruiser 260 and i need something to put it in. I found a 1977 tri-sonic that has a v8 mercruiser that is locked up. i was wondering if my motor will mate with that outdrive?? thanks for any info

If he still has his flywheel,coupler and bell housing and you are sure that your engine is a 2 piece rear main seal, she'll bolt right in...

Ayuh,.... As far as I know, 'n as far as the Info provided,...
The Flywheel cover, aka. the rear motor mounts are the only Difference...
