Need to find a prop shaft where? also can you remove prop shaft without pulling entire outdrive and seperating upper and lower units?

VP dealer, either local or online would be your best bet.

Yes, just pull the shaft and carrier out of the drive after removing the 2 bolts under the anode. You will need a slide hammer that fits on the threads of the propshaft to remove the shaft and carrier.

make sure you check your seals on the outside of the bearing carrier before you put it back together and replace them so you dont leak any oil out once put back together.

check your bearings to while its out and make sure they spin freely and dont have any wobble to them or flat spots in the ball bearings.
