I have a mercury outboard 50 hp 2 cly. 1999, when I bought it it had the oil tank allready removed , is there any thing that need to be changed or adjusted to have the correct fuel/oil ratio, it seems to run rich and some times has a suden pickup in horse power. I have changed plugs ,check compresion, checked coils. I have been using 50 to 1.
