Leaky Alpha one

I have just replaced my outdated Alpha leg with a later model(second hand). I fill it up with oil and went away for a week. When I returned I had a large pool of oil under the leg. It is coming out between the prop and the leg housing. I carried out a pressure. the leg held 18 PSI for 24hrs. This puzzled me. Could it be the oil is allowing the pressure to hold?

You have to drain all the gear lube before you can do a pressure check.

All righty, Well I drained the ol and carried out another test. The leg still holds 18PSI. Any ideas??????
