In the past I have used the WM winterizing kit and muffs. After reading many of the comments I have decided to abandon that method and feed antifreeze directly into the block. After I pull off the hose from the T housing that goes to the circulator pump I understand I can pour AF into the hose and it will get to the block. I just wanted to make sure that I don't need to do anything additional to get the AF pass the circulator pump while the engine is off. Thanks for any comments or suggestions.

Re: Winterizing 5.0L

remove all drain plugs first and make sure to clear out any sediment blocking the drain holes...then backflush through ALL the hoses...You should see pink flow out the drive and your drains...Once you see pink you can reinstall the drain srcews and fill with pink...Also check the sticky at the top of the forum...spelled out really well there
