I'm replacing the deck on my pontoon boat. I'm using marine grade plywood and would like to know what kind of sealant I should use for the plywood and type of glue for the carpet. Thanks.
Depends on how long you want it to last. From best to least:
- Fiberglass and resin (poly or epoxy)
- Just resin (epoxy only. Poly is no good by itself)
- Marine spar varnish
- Quality porch and floor paint
- Watercolors
I got the carpet for my bow deck from Home Depot online and used their 6700 adhesive. That stuff was awesome.
