Have a fish finder, and a gps. Want one that replaces both.

I have a fishfinder, Humminbird Piranha 3 (I think). Anyways, cool little device, seems to work quite well.

But when I wakeboard, the wife has to pull out my AA powered hand-held GPS to keep accurate speed control.

My question is...can I sell this Humminbird (for how much?) and what can I replace it with that also has GPS built in?

There are tons of units that have both capabilities. Just depends on how much you want to spend. If you don't care about color and just want a basic unit, you're looking at $200 or so, look for eagle, or maybe an entry level humminbird. OF course you can spend 1000's for large displays and color. i just got a Lowrance model from BOE Marine for really good deal, they've got a sale through tomorrow or the next day. Of course you can always look at Bass Pro or Cabelas. Good luck. As far as selling what you've got, Craigslist or Ebay?
