1965 MFG Niagra is it worth $1000.00

I have a 1965 mfg niagra and I took the seats out but the boat is pretty nice. It has a running 40hp Johnson 1965 motor on it also the trailor. I'm buying a car and want have a way to pull it and really don't have the time for a boat project. If I put it on craigslist what should I really try to get out of it?

Simply put ; these mfg's are only worth what people are willing to spend ... get the prospective buyer in the boat , show them how nimble it is and tell then about the construction , catch them a couple of fish... as soon as their hooked reel them in to the price you want ! peter

Probably. But at least up north here in VT you won't get it this time of year. Just a thought. Can't buy a new boat that size and get what you have with a Niagara, btw. I wouldn't sell mine for $1000! But I use mine at least once a week, sometimes more.

Thoughts...mine. Yours might be different.
