Running Two Stroke in tank

I am working on a 1986 (I think) 115 Suzuki. I bought a 55 gallon plastic drum and cut the top off of it to make a tank to lower the engine into to run it. Mainly for noise reduction.

I noticed that after a while there is what appears to be a little oil floating on the top of the water. Is this something that I should be concerned about or is that just the way it works with a two stroke? Will that cause issues if a little bit of that gets sucked back up and run through the cooling system?

I have a 1987 Suzuki 140 and use the same tank and yes, you do get oil floating on the top. I have a drain on the bottom of my tank and just drain it after I am done.

Most of the 2-stroke oil does not get burned up, but goes out with the exhaust.
It will not be any problem recirculate it through the engine cooling system.
For environmental reason it might be nice if you let the water sit for a day, skim off the oil on top before you drain it out into the 'open'.
